Perfect escape with stunning views
What a surprise! This place is a total gem. We had a fab room with a balcony that caught the morning sun, and the gardens were so well kept. The restaurant? Seriously good food at reasonable prices, served by super friendly staff. Parking’s a little tight though, especially on busy weekends.

Great food with a view
Had a fab meal at the restaurant! The beef I ordered was seriously the best I've ever had. We chose to sit outside for a nice view instead of dealing with the weird quiet vibe inside. The wine selection could use some high-end stuff tho. awesome experience!

The gardens here are stunning, and the view over Morecambe Bay is lovely. While the food was delicious, I found the portion sizes a bit small for the price. The atmosphere could feel a bit quiet and formal at times, but overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

the location of clare house is simply stunning. the views really enhanced our experience, and it’s conveniently close to the lakes. we appreciated the young staff who were eager to help, even if they lacked experience. the ambience of the place had its charm.
the afternoon tea experience was disappointing.

The setting offers a beautiful view of Morecambe Bay, creating a lovely atmosphere. the dining experience was disappointing. the portions were notably small, leaving us searching the plate for the lamb. An extra portion of roasted potatoes turned out to be just one more potato than what I received. It’s unfortunate as the hotel has such potential with its charming ambiance and the appeal of home-made pies and jams.
